Gorazd Bajc

He is Editor of the scientific journals Acta Histriae (since 2014) and Annales – Series historia et sociologia (since 2014). The articles in this journals are abstracted and indexed in Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and in Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI).

 His main fields of research and teaching are diplomacy and international relations, particularly the history of intelligence services, history of anti-fascism, history of Slovenian/Yugoslav–Italian relations, history of the Balkans, history of dissidence and violence and the legal situation of the Slovene minority in Italy. He participated in 56 conferences and among the most important internationally were in New York (2004), Vienna (2008), Moscow (2009 and 2013), Salerno (2013), Bari (2015) and Belgrade (2015).  He organizad and co-organized 16 scientific conferences. He was supervisor of two PhD students and co-examiner of 1.

 

Leadership of projects

Project manager of the postdoctoral research project Anglo-American Secret Diplomacy in the Mediterranean: the Case of the Primorska Region and Friuli, 1940-47 (2007-2008). Project manager of the research project The London Treaty 1915 and the Venezia Giulia (2015-2016).
